3-HOUR CLASS

DAVID FAHEY: The Portfolio Review & Gallery Presentation Class

Wednesday, April 28th. 9:00am – 12:00pm.

David Fahey is the Director of the Fahey Klein gallery in Hollywood, California, one of the most prestigious in the United States. Always sought-after for his input, his portfolio reviews quickly sell out each year at PSPF.  In this special class, David will review the portfolios of a number of the class members, and the class will participate in the discussion.   Fahey will discuss his ideas on how to prepare for portfolio reviews, to best approach galleries, create a book of work for publication and answer questions about how artist’s become known and collected.  This is an important class – attendees will take away very valuable information from the point of view of one of our important galleries.

A selection of portfolios from attendees will be reviewed via sharing desktops in this class. We can’t promise all the attendee’s work will be chosen in the time allowed, of course. If you’d like your portfolio considered, (not required for attendance), please send a PDF of your presentation to us for selection at thepspfteamATpalmspringsphotofestival.com (ampersand in place of AT) and add David Fahey Class in the subject line.
